Q. 1 What does Employment Department offers to the Job Seekers?

Ans. The prime Service offered by the Department to Job Seeker is Registration.


Q. 2 Where can a Job Seeker get himself/herself registered?

Ans. Online Employment Portal has been created for this service i.e. jakemp.nic.in


Q.3 Is Jobseeker registration Compulsory or Voluntary?

Ans. Jobseeker registration is Voluntary, but to get some cards like Labour Card or Contractor Card, it is compulsory.


Q.4 What are the benefits of Registration for Job Seekers?

Ans. The portal offers following benefits to the registered Job-seekers:

a) Participation in the Job fairs conducted by the department the information regarding which is posted on the portal.

b) Information regarding various recruiting agencies etc.

c) Jobseeker can search and apply for the jobs being posted on Employment portal by different Employers.

d) They can get access to all the job vacancies in the UT in one place.

e) They can find the best available jobs as per their qualification and expertise.


Q.5 Is the portal mobile friendly?

Ans. Yes, it is and the job seeker can get registered via Phone, Laptop & Desktop.


Q.6 How much time does it takes to get oneself registered?

Ans. It takes around 15-20 minutes on an average for a Job Seeker to get registered on the portal.


Q. 7 What are the details required to get registered on the portal?

Ans. The Details required are:-

a) Name b) Date of Birth c) Educational Qualification d) Technical Qualification, if any e) Address f) Interest area for Job, etc


Q.8 Do we need to upload our documents on the portal?

Ans . No need to upload the documents , just the details need to be correctly mentioned.


Q.9 Do we need to create a login Id for registration ?

Ans. Yes, a login Id and Password will be created by the Job Seeker which will be used for all the services offered by the Department’s portal.


Q.10 How to create the login Id & Password?

Ans. Visit the portal jakemp.nic.in => Go to Job seeker => New user => Register on the ‘ Registration Page’ => Enter your details => User Id will be created.

Login using that User Id and Fill Complete details for Registration

NOTE:- Make sure that the Email Id is correct. All the future communications will be send to this registered Email Address.


Q.11 Will I have to visit the Department to collect my Registration Card?

Ans. No, you will be able to download it by login in on the portal using your User Id & Password after due verification of the details by the Employment Department. You can take its print out also.


Q.12 Is Email ID necessary to do the registration?

Ans. Yes, a valid Email ID is a pre-requisite for getting yourself registered on Employment portal.


Q.13 Can I Apply for Job Vacancies online after registration?

Ans. Yes.


Q.14 Can I participate in Job fairs after registration?

Ans. Yes.


Q.15 Is the Registration Card valid for lifetime?

Ans. No, the registration card is valid for 3 years only, but you can get your card renewed online.

Q.16 How will I get the Job notifications?

Ans. You will get the job notifications via Email, so please provide valid and active contact details while registering yourself on the portal.


Q.17 Are the registered candidates eligible for Individual Counselling?

Ans. Yes, any one other than registered candidates also can come to District centres for counseling.

Q.1 Is Jobseeker registration Compulsory or Voluntary?

Ans. Employer registration is Voluntary.


Q.2 What are the benefits of registering as an Employer on the Employment portal?

Ans. The Employers can :

• Search for the job seekers registered with our portal with requisite skills

• Post jobs with detailed job Notification

• The portal provides a platform to get skilled Labour as per your requirements.


Q.3 Is PAN Card necessary to get registered as an employer?

Ans. It is optional to fill PAN Card details while registering as an employer.


Q.4 How to get registered as an Employer in Employment portal?

Ans.

1. Browse the URL http://jakemp.nic.in

2. Click on the Employer Tab on the home page.

3. Select New user tab and then fill up the registration form.

4. Press Create User tab and then select User Login tab to login into your account.

Q.5 Can the job-seeker data be accessed online?

Ans. Yes, once you create your user account, you can access the job-seeker data registered on Employment portal.


Q.6 How to upload Job vacancies?

Ans. After creating your user account, you can login into your account and selecting Post Notification tab, you can upload job vacancies.


Q.7 Can the Employer post job notifications on this portal?

Ans. Employer can post notifications by logging in his/her account which will automatically reflect on the portal.



NOC Divisions



Q.1 What is NOC?

Ans. NOC stands for No Objection Certificate.


Q.2 From where can a Candidate get the NOC?

Ans. Online Employment Portal has been created for this service i.e. www.jakemp.nic.in


Q.3 Is the portal mobile friendly?

Ans. Yes, it is and the candidate can apply via Phone, Laptop & Desktop. However, it is advised to apply using Desktop/Laptop for conveniently uploading the documents.


Q.4 Do we need to create a login Id while applying for NOC ?

Ans. Yes, a login Id and Password will be created by the Candidate which will be used for further process.


Q.5 How to create the login Id & Password?

Ans. Visit the portal jakemp.nic.in => Go to NOC User => Create User Id => Enter your details => User Id will be created. Login using that User Id and Fill Complete details


Q.6 What are the documents needed for Issuance of NOC?

Ans. The Documents needed are:

a) Date of Birth Proof {Birth Certificate/Class 10th Certificate/Similar Relevant Proof} (less than 200 Kb-jpeg)

b) Photograph (less than 50 kb -jpeg)


Q.7 Do I need to submit these documents Offline in the Department as well?

Ans. No.

Q.8 Will I have to visit the Department to collect my NOC?

Ans. No, you will be able to download it by login in on the portal using your User Id & Password after due verification of the details by the Department.


Q.9 Who can be issued NOC from Employment department?

Ans. The Employment Department can issue NOC to the person against whom there is nothing outstanding under any Self-Employment schemes being run by the department.


Q.10 How to apply for NOC from Employment Department?

Ans. Visit the portal jakemp.nic.in => Go to Job seeker => New user => Register on the ‘ Registration Page’ => Enter your details => User Id will be created.

After that you can Login into your account and apply for NOC. Once the concerned district will Verify your NOC, you will be able to get its print out.

Q.12 Who needs to get NOC from Employment Department?

Ans. The candidates who are newly appointed in the UT Govt can apply for NOC from concerned District Employment and Counselling Centre. Also the persons who need to open Kerosene Depot or Ration Depot can be granted NOC


Q.13 NOC can be applied online or by visiting District Employment Office?

Ans. NOC has to be applied online.
